Outreach
Our life as Christians calls us to follow Christ’s example to be a servant. The Outreach program at St. Francis' provides parishioners with the opportunity to serve the needy within our community and throughout the world. Current Outreach programs include Grace’s Kitchen, FISH Hospitality, FISH food for the need, Episcopal Relief and Development, and Episcopal Migration Ministries. We also operate as a day center for the FISH Hospitality program.
The Outreach coordinator is Pam Maiolo.
We are a Jubilee Center
St. Francis was designated a Jubilee Center of the Diocese of New Jersey in 2016.
Jubilee Ministries, created by an act of General Convention in 1983, encourage a ministry of joint discipleship in Christ with poor and oppressed people to meet basic human needs and to build a just society. Jubilee Ministries seek to fulfill Jesus' words in the the Gospel of Luke:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
and his mandate found in the Gospel of Matthew: to provide food for the hungry, drink for the thirsty, welcome for the stranger, clothing for the naked, healing for the sick, and companionship for the captive.

Every year, we adopt a family at Christmas and provide presents for them.

Some of the St. Francis crew who help feed those in need once a month at Grace's Kitchen.

We help raise money to support the work done by FISH Hospitality.
