The Lenten Open Heart Project

Pastor JJ Simpson-Keelan from Living Waters Lutheran Church (ELCA) & Rev. Ayden from St. Francis invite you to attend and participate in the Lenten Open Heart Project.

Each Monday: (March 3rd and throughout Lent): Join a Live Lectio Divina at 1 pm that will focus the reading for Wednesday evening's listening and reflection, (Link will be provided on March 2nd).

Wednesdays in Lent:          Soup Supper: 6 pm       Listening & Reflection: 7 pm

We will gather for a simple soup supper at Living Waters Lutheran Church in Ringoes, NJ. Thereafter, we will move to the sanctuary to listen and to reflect on personal accounts from some of God's precious children.

• March 12th: Luke 4:1-13

"One does not live by bread alone."

• March 19th: Luke 13:21-35

"Yet today, tomorrow, and the next day, I must be on my way, because it is impossible for a prophet to be killed outside of Jerusalem."

• March 26th: Luke 13: 1-9

"A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and found none... "

• April 2nd: Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32

"For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found."

• April 9th: John 12:1-8

"Mary took a pound of costly perfume made of pure nard, anointed Jesus' feet, and wiped them with her hair."
